Analyze Your Medical History before You Begin
If you are over 40 years of age, have been inactive for more than two to three years regardless of age, or are in a high-risk group (obese, hypertense, diabetic, or have high blood lipids), a thorough physical examination is recommended. A qualified fitness instructor can also check your heart rate and blood pressure during exercise on a stationary bicycle to secure valuable information about how you will respond to a program. Improve Your General Conditioning Level
